LeaderShape
I was lucky to start 2015 off strong by attending The LeaderShape Institute from January 4th through 9th. My definition of leadership has always been being able to serve others and work towards achieving the best possible outcome for the group as a whole, and by going to LeaderShape I was able to reaffirm this definition as well as add to it. A leader to me is able to succeed and achieve a goal for themselves and more importantly for others working with them, and with this definition a leader might be the appointed manager of the group or a hard worker who contributes and does what they're told or anyone in between. And I think the most important thing that LeaderShape helped me learn was that to be a better leader you have to understand yourself as a person and know the values that are your motivations for your passions. Below is a more descriptive reflection of my time at LeaderShape!
